I feel like this post is long over due but here it is.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately from friends and colleagues on how to use the Like to Know it app. I’ve listed answers to your questions along with instructions. Enjoy!
What is Like to Know it?
Like to Know it is a social based shopping service that allows users to instantly access and purchase anything their favorite influencers are wearing or showcasing, like home goods. Like to Know it is run by RewardStyle, which has changed the way we shop for both bloggers and consumers.
How to spot a Like to know it post?
You may have noticed on my Instagram pictures a little black or sometimes white heart at the bottom right corner of my pictures, followed by @liketoknowit tagged, as well as a Like To Know It URL, and a couple #LTK hashtags like the illustration above. That only means that the products shown on that picture can be shopped on the Like to Know it app.
For instance, if you like this maxi dress that I’m wearing or the wooded table and chairs, you can quickly and easily see where they’re from and purchase that item using the Like to Know it app right on your mobile device…NOW HOW COOL IS THAT?! Plus, you can apply this same method with Snapchat and Pinterest.
How it works?
Download the app in the App Store (works for android as well). Simply sign up by providing an email and password. Then, go on Instagram and look for to see if “@liketoknowit” tagged in the caption. If so, take a screenshot of the picture and then go back to the app. The picture will show up in the app, and will have smaller pictures of the items featured in that image. To see where the item(s) is/are from and how much it is, simply click on that particular item then it will send you to the URL page of the store it’s from.
You can also browse thousands of shoppable influencer images within the app. The same method can be applied if you don’t want to sign up on Like to Know it app. If you noticed on the right column of this post there’s a box called “Shop My Instagram”, click on it and you’ll be able to see all of my looks on one page.
