On my end, I usually spend New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in my home state of Florida.

However, this year was a little different.

My husband and I flew to Covington, Kentucky not only to celebrate New Year but we had a family member who was tying the knot on New Year’s Eve. 

Entering a new year with new beginnings and a big celebration with friends and family to welcome 2024. 

Nevertheless, I think it was a brilliant idea.

It was my first time visiting the state of Kentucky and boy was it cold.

On our first night, the high was 35 degrees and a low of 28 degrees. 

Therefore, I was definitely out of my habitat. 

We stayed at Hotel Covington and I was quite satisfied with our room. 

The city of Covington holds lots of history.

Most of the architecture I came across were the original bricks which I thought was fascinating. 

Honestly we didn’t get to explore much as I wanted due to time restrictions.

Plus, I was freezing my tail off. 

Since this is mainly a fashion and style blog, It’s only right that I share a few outfits I wore during our forty eight hours in Kentucky.

Although the temperature were frigid, overall I had a great time welcoming and saying, “Hello 2024 in Covington, Kentucky” with family.
