The holidays are here and what better time to add an extra spice to your outfits. With all the holiday parties and festivities, I always try to add a little fun, sass and class to my outfits.
Recently, I updated my wardrobe and added a couple of Glen Plaid patterned garments like this adorable dress. Although this pattern has been around for years and remains to be a classic, I’ve managed to add a bit of my modern touches to this dress. I love the detailed double zipper pockets and the puff sleeves.
Usually with a dress like this, I would wear it with a nice pair of heels. I thought, why not change it up a bit and wear these laced up ankle boots similar to this one.
I got these ankle boots a couple months ago and I must say, at first glance I didn’t like them but I ended up getting them anyways. Today, I’m happy I didn’t leave it on the store shelf.
To add more flare, why not an optional faux fur vest similar to this one? Now talk about a head-turning outfit!
I wore it with the Le Boy bag by Chanel as a crossbody, cat-eyed sunglasses and to top it off, I even pulled my hair up into a nice ponytail.
Holidays or not, there’s never a bad time to play with different looks and add some sass to your outfits.
