Hello Dolls,
As you all know, it’s New York Fashion Week and I wouldn’t miss this great opportunity to experience such a great event in the City of Dreams. It’s my second year going to New York during Fashion Week since I’ve started blogging.
I can honestly say, I’m enjoying every minute I’m spending here. I love the food, the lively atmosphere and I feel like I can go even deeper into my imagination when I’m in New York without feeling awkard. Add thousands of other creative minds and fashionable people like designers, models and bloggers and influencers in one city for a whole week, definitely makes for an over the top experience. Since arriving to New York, I made sure I got out my hotel room to network and explore everything this beautiful City of Dreams has to offer and boy did it pay off this time around.
I got to experience a Badgley Mischka Fashion Show thanks to a lovely young lady I met on an Uber ride. We talked the whole entire ride and shared information off of each other. I will always be thankful and grateful of her.
Yesterday, it rained all day and the temperature was in the upper 50s. I wore this cozy cardigan the whole day in two different looks. The first look, I wore it with comfortable sneakers and a mini black dress as I explored the beautiful city streets of the Upper West Side.
As evening rolled in, I switched those sneakers for stylish over the knee boots, wide waisted belt and a cabby hat.
Another thing I’m in love with is the true feeling of Fall. I’m going to be sad when it’s time to go home in Florida. I wish I could just pack my bags and move to New York. However, it’s easier said than done.
Overall, never be afraid to explore and reach out to others. The answer just might be a “yes” to whatever you’re looking for.
