I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
As we near that time of year again to transition our wardrobe for the Fall season, I’m bring out all of my favorite outer wear like this comfy and cozy cardigan sweater (similar). I will admit, I was burning up during this photo shoot for “Fall” outfits. In Florida, we don’t really get to experience a true Fall season like the rest of the country does, but I wouldn’t let that get in the way of getting into the spirit. I styled this lovely cardigan with high waist gray jeans and a pop of red cami, heels and bag. I also feel like this shade of gray would work well with a nice shade of pink or blue too.

I’m going to change the subject just a little bit but I must say, I’m also loving these shots. As I get near to two years since I’ve started this blog, I’ve learned a lot and I’m still learning. One of the major components to having a great blog in my opinion, is great images. I don’t have a professional photographer (it can get costly) but I do love the learning process of photography. Recently, I’ve been experimenting with different lenses and so far I can honestly say, I found a lens that I’m super in love with. It’s the Canon 85mm 1.8 lens. It took me a while for me and my son (who usually helps with my pictures) to figure it out. I felt like I had to stand half a mile in order to get a full body shot…LOL. Thanks to my friend Brian who has a love for photography as well, better explained to me how this lovely lens works.
I think as this blog grows, I too will grow with it and gain more experience with photography.
