WOW! Its a new day, a new year and a new decade. Time sure does fly.
For many, a New Year signifies new beginnings and start overs. For others, it can be a day of sorrow from the loss of a loved one. For me, 2019 has been a year of growth and endurance.
At the beginning of the year I loss an uncle, launched The Fabulous 1 Boutique, made new blogger friends and worked hard to accomplish my goals.
Although sometimes I felt like throwing in the towel and felt the constant pressure and worry for my ill mother but I kept pushing. I’m not one to express my emotions but I’m so grateful to have my sisters and close friends to sometimes vent to.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned in 2019 is not everyone is going to be happy for you and your success, not every battle is worth your energy and not everyone is meant to be in your future. Focus on your goals, find your purpose in life, have faith and cherish the ones you love.
Overall, it has been a challenging year but without challenges, there’s no growth. Without growth, you’re not living to your highest potential. It’s okay to focus on yourself and be your biggest fan.
